Commvault Partners With Carahsoft to Offer Cloud Solution to US Intelligence Community
Commvault is expanding its public sector presence by collaborating with Carahsoft Technology, making its cyber resilience and data protection solutions more accessible to the U.S. Intelligence Community.
On Tuesday, the hybrid cloud cybersecurity solutions firm announced that it listed its Commvault Cloud offering in the AWS Marketplace with the help of Carahsoft.
The solution offers government customers an option to rapidly identify threats and accelerate threat response times. It also provides a solution for organizations to securely recover their data from any workload, infrastructure or location, Commvault said.
Bryan Jenkins, director of strategic business development at Carahsoft, said that offering the Commvault Cloud to federal agencies ensures the protection of highly confidential data at all times.
Don Maruca, Commvault vice president of federal, agreed with Jenkins, saying that the combination of being a cloud-based solution and comprehensive coverage of the Commvault Cloud allows it to cover all the requirements of a government office.
Carahsoft has been connecting the U.S. government with supplies from different industries to deliver a wide range of solutions to improve its public service. In May, it won a blanket purchase agreement from the Department of Navy to provide Broadcom’s VMWare products and services.
