Core4ce Secures NIWC’s $90M Cybersecurity Support Contract

The Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic has awarded Core4ce a five-year, $90 million other transaction authority production contract to continue supporting the Cyber Security Service Provider operational environments.

Under the deal, the contractor will support full-scale CSSP services by providing engineering, architecture and operations support. The contract’s design aims to help the Department of Defense fulfill its information technology strategy that takes advantage of commercially available solutions, from cloud computing to other products or services that would help defensive cyber operations, Core4ce said.

CEO Mike Morehouse said that Core4ce is honored to continue working with NIWC as it fulfills its mission of driving innovation and warfighter information advantage.

Core4ce has been the federal government’s long-term partner in upgrading and maintaining its IT systems. In 2022, the Medical Corps of the U.S. Navy and the Defense Health Agency tapped the contractor to provide health IT services under a $173 million contract. Core4ce also worked with the NIWC in 2021 to provide the unit with desktop virtualization and enterprise application services.
