Corelight Adopts Normalyze’s Cloud Security Platform to Improve Sensitive Data Visibility

Corelight, a network detection and response company that serves government agencies and Fortune 500 companies, has adopted Normalyze’s automated cloud security platform.

Normalyze said that its solution helped Corelight address the complexities associated with modern data security. Prior to the technology’s implementation, Corelight struggled to keep tabs on its sensitive data and technology assets, Normalyze said Tuesday.

The implementation allowed Corelight to locate its sensitive data within minutes, perform scans to detect personally identifiable information and other such items as well as identify network surfaces where a breach might occur, Normalyze added.

Bernard Brantley, Corelight’s chief information security officer, previously led a team that had to manually collect data from different teams, access logs and operations dashboards.

Brantley said that Normalyze’s solution fits his data security goals of maintaining comprehensive situational and structural awareness.

He said that the platform allows users to track where everything is on a network and understand how much their data is exposed to. “Normalyze gives me the confidence that we have that full visibility,” Brantley added.

Amer Deeba, co-founder and CEO of Normalyze, said that the platform met all of Corelight’s critical cloud infrastructure, adding that it benefits the entire software and information security team.
