Cybeats Technologies Pledges to CISA ‘Secure by Design’ Initiative

Cybeats Technologies has joined the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s “Secure by Design” initiative to improve security standards in all sectors.

Dmitry Raidman, chief technology officer at Cybeats, said that with digital security being a necessity in modern society, the company’s SBOM Studio will help customers adopt secure by design principles.

With the pledge, the number of organizations that have committed to the pledge totals 68, all of them working to ensure their software development follows CISA principles, Cybeats said.

The U.S. cybersecurity agency has been leading the government’s initiative to promote secure by design principles, an effort designed to encourage software vendors to follow the principles to improve cybersecurity.

In December, it sought public feedback on its secure by design guidance, covering a wide range of questions, including the implementation of security in the early phases of software development, the integration of cybersecurity into computer science education and the need to address recurring vulnerabilities.
