DCS Secures $2.1B Army DEVCOM Contract for Continued Ground Vehicle Support

The U.S. Army has awarded DCS Corp. a five-year, $2.09 billion contract to continue providing technical and engineering support to the Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicles Systems Center.

Under the CCDC GVSC Technical and Engineering Services contract, DCS will continue providing technical and engineering services to program and project managers within Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems and PEO Combat Support & Combat Services Support. The company will also support other program managers across the Department of Defense working on transportation systems, armored vehicles, vehicle protection systems, self-propelled cannons and unmanned ground vehicles, among others.

The contract comes with two optional one-year ordering periods, DCS said.

The Army award comes after the company secured contracts supporting the Navy and the Air Force.

In July, DCS received a subcontract from Odyssey Systems Consulting to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Digital Directorate. Under the subcontract, DCS was tasked to provide advisory and assistance services supporting the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding and sustainment of the AMFCMC/HB portfolio, which includes over 130 Air Force and allied programs.

In May, the company won a five-year, $58 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. Under the contract, DCS was required to deliver test and evaluation engineering, research and development, systems analysis and warfare systems integration into the Navy’s aircraft and aviation subsystems.
