DHS Science and Technology Directorate to Use Decision Lens’ Software Solution for Automated Surveys

The Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate has selected Decision Lens to provide a continuous, automated solution as a replacement for its manual, forms-based surveys.

The new system is designed for role-specific surveys and fosters enterprise decision management with more time available for data analysis and real-time delivery of outputs, Decision Lens disclosed.

According to Maria Ryan, company vice president, the system’s software solution offers broad applications in government planning, Decision Lens said Wednesday.

The platform’s capabilities and outputs are already “well-known within the department,” as DHS had previously worked with Decision Lens, Ryan added. She shared that the company is “excited to continue delivering value to DHS” in its drive for operational excellence.

Aside from the DHS, the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command’s Centralized Asset Management recently tapped Decision Lens to enhance its programming, budgeting and execution processes for a $19 billion portfolio.

Decision Lens also said it is assisting Department of Defense customers in the development of a quantitative criteria-based prioritization framework for data-driven decisions.
