ECS Designated as Platform One Products Reseller

The Air Force has given ECS permission to sell Platform One products and services for clients across the federal, commercial and academic sectors.

Platform One supports Department of Defense programs by providing baked-in security to mission-critical software. It merges top talent from across the Air Force using various factories like Kessel Run.

P1 resellers will be allowed to sell components of the software development environment, including Iron Bank, a repository of binary container images, and Big Bang, a framework for deploying instances of a DevSecOps platform for DOD commands, ECS said.

The management consulting company will leverage its experience implementing P1 products and services in customer environments to accelerate software factory implementations and codify best practices.

Raj Lingam, ECS vice president of application services, noted that the company has been investing in developing technologists to customize and implement Platform One solutions.

Stephen Erickson, vice president of strategic solutions at ECS, said in a statement that the reseller agreement includes enhancing the base offerings of Platform One and providing value-added solutions.

One of those solutions, according to Erickson, is Vauban, the company’s open-source security orchestration, automation and response solution.

ECS joins Booz Allen Hamilton, Seed Innovations, BrainGu, Revacomm, Indrasoft and Novetta as authorized resellers of P1 products and services. The six companies were designated as resellers as part of an Other Transaction Agreement between Platform One and nonprofit organization Catalyst Campus.
