Eptura Workplace Management Solution Achieves ‘In Process’ Designation

The Department of Veteran’s Affairs has awarded worktech company Eptura’s Archibus integrated workplace management system an “In Process” designation within the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.

The Archibus by Eptura enables federal agencies to see lower cost structures by optimizing capital investments, managing equipment lifecycle costs and proactively servicing assets through preventive maintenance.

The designation is a step toward securing a FedRAMP agency authority to operate and becoming a FedRAMP-authorized workplace and asset management solution, Eptura said.

Chief Information Security Officer James Carder said that the FedRAMP designation is a significant achievement in delivering a secure and dependable workplace management solution to the government.

Established in 2011, FedRAMP aims to provide a cost-effective, risk-based approach for the adoption and use of cloud services by federal agencies.

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is another product that recently achieved FedRAMP “High” authorization. The Oracle solution provides enhanced artificial intelligence, DevOps and security capabilities to federal agencies.
