Everfox, Microsoft Collaborate to Offer Cloud-Based National Security Solutions for Government Customers
Cybersecurity solutions provider Everfox, formerly Forcepoint Federal, has entered into a strategic partnership with Microsoft, allowing the integration of the company’s defense-grade cross-domain technology into the Azure cloud platform.
Everfox CEO Sean Berg said the Microsoft partnership allows the company’s solutions to offer expanded capabilities “from cloud to tactical edge.”
Under the agreement, the two companies are developing innovative new cloud products that enable warfighters and other federal employees to access the information they need at the scale and velocity they need, Everfox said.
Zach Kramer, vice president for mission engineering at Microsoft, said the combined capabilities of the Azure platform and Everfox’s defense-grade cybersecurity solutions will help improve security and the real-time experience for government users and coalition partners across the globe.
The federal government has been turning to cloud computing to improve its customers’ experience. The U.S. Postal Service pointed to the technology as its secret to delivering a good digital experience to its customers using the Informed Delivery service.
