Excella Secures Spot on OPM’s $110M Data, Analytics Support BPA

The Office of Personnel Management has awarded Excella a spot on its five-year, $100 million Data Science and Analytics Support Services blanket purchase agreement and has given the company two task orders under the BPA.

For the first task order, Excella will help the OPM develop customer-facing data products that give users direct access to data on the agency’s platform. The solutions, designed to improve user experience and data accessibility and transparency, will use human-centered and Agile design processes.

For the second task order, Excella will provide artificial intelligence and machine learning application development, research and analytics support to OPM’s Human Resources Solutions branch.

The BPA supports the OPM HRS Federal Staffing Center and other HRS offices, Excella said.

The DSASS contract award follows several 12-month agreements Excella secured from the OPM in September, where the company was tasked to support data-related matters.

The contracts, worth $13 million in total, require Excella to work with the National Technical Information Service, the Data Governance Board and the Human Capital Data Management and Modernization Directorate to mature OPM’s data visualization, infrastructure, skills, standards and stewardship programs. The company will meet its obligations through its joint venture with NTIS.

On March 21, join the Potomac Officers Club’s 5th Annual AI Summit, where federal leaders and industry experts converge to explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence.
