FBI Awards $138M Contract to Edgewater for IT, Professional Engineering Support

Edgewater Federal Solutions has secured a $138 million Information Technology Professional Engineering and Support Services contract from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The contract requires the provision of enterprise information technology and professional engineering support to the FBI’s Information Technology Infrastructure Division for a period of five years. The FBI needs reliable IT infrastructure systems to support the organization’s protective mission and the ITPES contract meets this requirement, Edgewater said.

Edgewater CEO Dave Yockman said his company has an established team and partner network to provide lifecycle IT support to more than 30,000 devices and 9,500 servers. He said the company is capable of supporting the FBI’s mission-critical data centers.

Among the supporting services that will be provided by Edgewater under the contract are enterprise IT services, including system design, implementation and upkeep. To achieve this, Edgewater employees will be stationed at the FBI sites in Pocatello, Idaho; Huntsville, Alabama; and Morgantown, West Virginia.
