FBI Selects ManTech to Provide IT Support Services Under $8B BPA Contract

The FBI has selected artificial intelligence, cyber and mission-focused technology solutions provider ManTech International to join the $8 billion Information Technology Supplies and Support Services second-generation blanket purchase agreement contract.

Stephen Deitz, president of the federal civilian sector at ManTech, said that while the company has been supporting the FBI’s wide range of needs for decades, participating in the ITSSS-2 contract would allow ManTech to contribute to accelerating digital modernization initiatives across mission-critical technologies and ensure enhanced efficiency and performance.

The eight-year deal includes various IT support services, including artificial intelligence, intelligent systems engineering and mission IT, ManTech said.

The news comes after the FBI tapped NTT Data to be the prime contractor for the BPA. The vendor will provide business, delivery and IT solutions and services to Department of Justice components, supporting operations to ensure effective delivery of public services.

ManTech recently expanded its leadership team with the addition of Gary Grimes as vice president and chief acceleration officer. Grimes’ appointment comes as the company is catering to a growing number of customers searching for AI-enabled solutions to see business growth.
