FedRAMP Confers ‘In Process’ Status on Glassbeam’s Predictive Analytics Solution
Medical equipment data company Glassbeam announced that it has attained a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program “In Process” designation for its multi-vendor software-as-a-service analytics offering.
The solution provides predictive capabilities to enhance machine uptime, service engineer productivity and patient care, Glassbeam said Wednesday.
In a press release, the company noted that the Department of Veterans Affairs uses the SaaS offering for General Electric and Siemens computed tomography devices within Veterans Integrated Service Network 2.
According to Glassbeam CEO Richard Jones, the SaaS offering is an affordable machine uptime solution for VA. The solution increases medical imaging system productivity and patient care quality, he added.
Glassbeam said its offering preempts repairs for devices such as CT and magnetic resonance imaging scanners using artificial intelligence and machine learning. Once it receives full FedRAMP authorization, the solution is expected to be the only predictive alerting system available to federal agencies.
FedRAMP is a security standard for cloud services used by the federal government.
