FedRAMP Grants Constellation GovCloud Provisional Authority to Operate
Managed service provider Constellation GovCloud has announced that its platform has obtained provisional authority to operate from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program’s Joint Authorization Board.
The JAB-approved platform provides compliance and revenue support to technology companies seeking to work with the U.S. government and critical infrastructure organizations, Constellation GovCloud said Wednesday.
It works by integrating a partner company’s software development lifecycle into a digital twin environment, allowing the production of a compliance and revenue roadmap.
Merlin Cyber CEO and Chairman David Phelps said his organization created Constellation GovCloud to “accelerate and de-risk” partners’ investments in FedRAMP. He described the platform as a “revenue accelerator.”
FedRAMP chooses 12 cloud products annually to work with the board to secure a P-ATO. The JAB is made up of the General Services Administration and the departments of Defense and Homeland Security.
In July, the board announced that it would prioritize authorizing offerings by 3rd Eye Technologies, Google Cloud, KBR Vaault, Quzara, Red Hat and Telos.
