Harness CI/CD, Security Testing Modules Now Available on Platform One

End-to-end software platform provider Harness has announced that it has been accepted into the U.S. Air Force’s DevSecOps platform.

According to Harness, its Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Security Testing Orchestration modules are now available on Platform One’s Iron Bank container repository. The certification allows government agencies that use Platform One to reduce burdens on developer teams and improve speed-to-mission time, Harness said Tuesday.

The Harness CI module gives developers access to hosted builds, caching and the company’s proprietary Test Intelligence product. It is designed to allow developers to build applications on multiple platforms, host solutions on various cloud providers and add open-source plugins easily.

Harness CD allows users to automate deployments using artificial intelligence and machine learning. It also enables greater visibility at every deployment stage, delivers a developer-friendly Pipeline-as-Code experience and provides enterprise-grade security.

Harness STO automatically runs security scanners throughout various development stages. It uses Open Policy Agent policies to ensure that all application security scans are performed and achieve acceptable results.

Platform One is a DevSecOps platform that delivers various software services across the Department of Defense. Some of the offering’s services are software factory management, CI/CD pipeline management and container hardening centralization.

Harness is a San Francisco-based company that offers software development and cybersecurity modules.
