HRSA Awards $85M Information Technology Support Contract to REI Systems
REI Systems has secured a potential five-and-a-half-year, $85 million blanket purchase agreement from the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Bureau of Primary Health Care Office of Health Center Investment Oversight to provide reporting and data-related information technology support.
Efforts are expected to include data collection, analysis and visualization, REI said Wednesday. The company said it would perform program analysis of COVID-19 datasets to determine its impact on the health care system, industry trends and other areas.
Alaska-based Chenega Enterprise Systems and Solutions is the prime contractor on the BPA.
Wagish Bhartiya, chief growth officer of REI Systems and a 4×24 member, said the partnership with Chenega will ensure effective health delivery. Bhartiya added that the award is an opportunity to advance a long-term partnership with HRSA.
The news follows a five-year, $250 million contract award to REI Systems in 2021 to upgrade the agency’s electronic grant management system.
The company was recently selected by the Library of Congress to deliver a cloud-based grants management system.
