Iboss Launches New Module Accelerating DNS, Internet Protocol Processes for Government Agencies
Boston-based cloud security provider iboss has launched the Government Protective DNS Module, an offering designed to give government agencies advanced threat detection and encrypted domain name system capabilities across devices.
According to iboss, the module provide unique internet protocol addresses per government agency, which is needed for integration with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Protective DNS service. The module also allows users to forward DNS queries directly to CISA.
The device also provides DNS query encryption, central log capturing and securing, real-time log forwarding and security information and event management integration, iboss said.
The company has a track record of creating cybersecurity solutions for U.S. government use.
In July 2022, it received full Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program authorization for its iboss Government Cloud Platform. The iboss Government Cloud Platform is a zero trust edge cloud security offering that can secure devices without the need for a virtual private network.
Iboss also said the platform meets the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s zero trust specifications.
