ICF to Modernize CMS’ Digital Services Under $88M Contract

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded ICF an $88 million contract to modernize its Quality Payment Program.

The nearly five-year contract entails enhancing QPP functionality, improving user experience and streamlining administrative tasks for clinicians, ICF said.

James Morgan, ICF’s chief operating officer, said the company will leverage its cloud technologies, advanced data analytics and health care industry expertise to deliver a solution that provides clinicians with actionable insights.

The consulting and technology services provider also highlighted its experience in cloud operations, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data sharing, along with hundreds of its certifications and accreditations.

Additionally, ICF will take advantage of thousands of its technologists and industry experts as well as its platform partners to deliver effective and efficient solutions that will accelerate CMS’ modernization.

Morgan, who is also a past Potomac Officers Club event speaker. said the goal is to empower health care providers with the tools necessary to deliver more personalized patient care.

The contract includes a six-month base, four one-year option periods and a four-month option period.
