Immersive Labs, UKi Collaborate to Offer Cyber Resiliency Training to DOD

Immersive Labs has entered into a partnership with Ultimate Knowledge Institute to make its hands-on cyber exercises available on the Department of Defense Cyber Mission Force Persistent Cyber Training Environment through an integration with UKi’s OpenDash360 platform.

Tony Akers, CEO at UKi, said that bringing Immersive Labs’ cyber resilience content will help the DOD and other organizations have an advantage over threats by having soldiers undergo cyber training and custom learning labs.

The PCTE training platform is open to individual sustainment training, team certification and mission rehearsals for the Joint Cyberspace Operations Forces, Immersive Labs said.

Retired Gen. Paul Nakasone, former head of the U.S. Cyber Command and National Security Agency and past Wash100 winner, is among the military leaders who have regarded cyber exercises as a vital part of ensuring U.S. cyberspace supremacy. In February, he said during a hearing before the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party that the United States has been sustaining its advantage over China and other foreign adversaries due to its service members with “very good” capabilities.
