Informatica to Support Carahsoft in Providing Army With Data Management Solutions

Enterprise cloud data management company Informatica has been selected to be a manufacturer on the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 contract.

The ITES-SW2 is held by Carahsoft Technology and supports the U.S. Army’s Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions.

The deal runs through Aug. 30, 2025, Informatica said.

Under the contract, Reston, Virginia-headquartered Carahsoft is tasked with providing software, software maintenance and ancillary services developed by Informatica to support the enterprise infrastructure goals of various federal agencies.

Informatica, which is headquartered in Redwood City, California, provides enterprise cloud data management capabilities designed to support the Department of Defense and other government agencies in delivering “effectiveness, efficiencies and mission results” by using their data as a strategic and operational asset.

Solutions developed by the company allow users to discover, understand, correlate and manage their data for its purpose.

According to Michael Anderson, Informatica’s chief federal strategist, the key capabilities provided by the company are data visibility, accessibility, interoperability and security.

Informatica’s software, software maintenance and ancillary services and hardware are available through the Carahsoft ITES-SW2 contract.

The Army Network Enterprise Technology Command laid out categories for the ITES-SW2 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle, including audio and visual, business and finance, communication, database, education, internet and programming and development.
