Iron Mountain, Carahsoft Partner to Enhance Digital Data Management for Government Agencies

Iron Mountain has teamed up with Carahsoft Technology to make Iron Mountain’s information management solutions available to the public sector.

The partnership aims to help government agencies transition from physical to digital information management at scale, Carahsoft said.

Iron Mountain aims to digitize records and centralize data, allowing agencies to integrate advanced technologies such as generative artificial intelligence. According to Carahsoft, the initiative will improve workflow efficiency, data analysis and asset protection.

Melissa Carson, vice president and general manager of Iron Mountain’s government solutions unit, emphasized the partnership’s role in transforming data into digital experiences for citizen services.

Carson, a 4×24 member, noted that the company’s InSight solution has supported numerous public sector agencies in securely digitizing sensitive information, such as personally identifiable information from medical records and tax-related data.

Iron Mountain’s solutions are now accessible through several procurement contracts managed by Carahsoft, including GSA Schedule and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V.
