J3 Consulting to Provide Acquisition Support to IRS Cyber Division

The Internal Revenue Service has selected J3 Consulting to provide comprehensive acquisition support services to the Cybersecurity Security Services and Investment Office.

Under a $4.4 million contract, J3 will offer its expertise in acquisition planning, program management and technical writing in support of the IRS IT cyber mission. Contract work covers the full acquisition lifecycle, from pre-award to post-award processes, to ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and policies, J3 said.

According to Jeannie Jones-Ledford, J3 president and CEO, the contract mirrors her company’s dedication to strengthening the U.S. cybersecurity infrastructure and protecting critical government systems using top-tier cybersecurity solutions. “We are committed to supporting the IRS in its mission to safeguard taxpayer data and maintain the trust of the American people,” she added.

J3 Consulting said its team consists of highly skilled professionals with “deep industry knowledge and a keen understanding of complex systems.”

The company is included in Inc. Magazine’s list of startups to watch in 2023. The Virginia-based government services company grew 84 percent over three years.
