AI Safety Institute Consortium Draws in Keysight Technologies
Santa Rosa, California-based software solutions company Keysight Technologies has announced its membership in the U.S. AI Safety Institute Consortium, officially launched by the National Institute of Science and Technology on Feb. 8. to help create standards for trustworthy AI technologies.
The company emphasized that besides AISIC, it also partners with other industry stakeholders to grow AI applications in wireless communications testing and validating the hardware needed for AI cloud architecture support.
According to Satish Dhanasekaran, Keysight CEO, the company is ready to work with other consortium members in the development of measures and standards for trustworthy AI, Keysight Technologies said.
The company pointed out that AI is a strong enabling element for its design, prototyping and testing solutions. It added that the technology is also at play in Keysight’s deliverable services for the aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, semiconductor and computing industries.
The NIST issued consortium membership invitations in November 2023, drawing over 200 member companies. Large companies that have joined AISIC include Apple, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft and Meta.
