Metric5 Clinches Deal to Support US Citizenship and Immigration Services

Metric5 has received a CIO-SP3 SB award to provide information technology modernization and data sciences services for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services under the Predictive Lake Analytics Nextgen eXchange Services task order. The five-year task order will allow Metric5 to support the development and enhancement of capabilities for advanced analytics and data reporting as well as data brokering for IT systems and applications, Octo Metric said Tuesday.

Under the deal, Metric5, a member of the Octo Metric joint venture, will incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning, configuration management, advanced DevSecOps and user-centered design, among other capabilities and best practices. For its part, Octo Metric will also provide architecture design, implementation, and support and legacy operational maintenance alongside user training and change control.

Abu Malik, Metric5’s president, said the company will help move the USCIS through the modernization journey using the best of emerging technologies, automation and advanced data analytics.

In January 2021, Octo and Metric5 won a five-year, $63 million contract to develop information technology applications for the Department of the Treasury’s Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.

The JV will provide Agile development, maintenance, security and operational support of TTB’s business applications under the DevOps – Software Development Services contract, ExecutiveBiz reported.

In Oct. 2020, the Octo Metric Joint Venture was awarded the four-year, $25 million Mission Support Portfolio on the Transportation Security Administration FAST contract. Under the contract, Octo was to provide program and project management, subject matter and senior technology expertise, application development and application production. FAST would deliver a strategy that will support the integration, customization and development of various mission support systems and applications, according to a report by ExecutiveGov.
