More Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services Receive FedRAMP Authorization
More Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services have secured authorization from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, increasing the number of OCI offerings available to civilian, defense and intelligence community customers.
According to Rand Waldron, vice president of the global government sector at Oracle, the FedRAMP approval assures government agencies that the cloud services employ security measures to protect their technology, processes and people.
A FedRAMP-recognized third-party assessment organization assisted in attaining authorization from the Joint Authorization Board to use the services in the high-authorized cloud infrastructure, Oracle said.
Among the newly approved cloud services are OCI Network Visualizer, Vulnerability Scanning Service, GoldenGate, Java Management Service, Bastion, Oracle Cloud Advisor, VPN Connect, Programmable Network Platform, Data Integration and Logging Analytics.
The products add to dozens of Oracle offerings deemed compliant with federal security standards. In August 2022, the company achieved FedRAMP authorization for Cloud Guard, Management Agent, Organization Management and OS Management services on its cloud environment.
