Naval Research Laboratory Extends DCS Technical Services Support Contract
The Naval Research Laboratory has extended a contract that will see a novel intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance prototype system program continue receiving technical support services.
On Wednesday, DCS announced that it had secured a five-year, $49 million contract to provide development, test and evaluation support services as the NRL works on the prototype for the Navy and other customers. Work will be carried out in several locations, including at the NRL facility in Washington, D.C., and the DCS headquarters in Alexandria and Dumfries, Virginia, DCS said.
According to CEO Jim Benbow, the company is honored to provide support services as the NRL carries out research and development efforts to achieve its mission.
DCS is also working with the U.S. Army on a Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center project. Under its CCDC GVSC contract, it will provide technical and engineering support services to the program and project managers within the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems and PEO Combat Support and Combat Services Support.
