NAWCAD Seeks Cyber Warfare Support Services

The Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division is in need of a small business that can fulfill its requirements for a wide range of cyber warfare services

NAWCAD is conducting market research to gauge the industry’s ability to support the operations of its Cyber Warfare Department, according to a sources-sought notice posted on SAM .gov

The selected contractor will provide research and development support to facilitate the development of cyber warfare hardware and software for platforms, weapons, systems, subsystems and items.

In addition, the winning contractor will help develop and deploy protection solutions that address critical access points and cyber-electronic warfare convergent capabilities.

Support services are also needed for CWD’s efforts related to cyber test and evaluation, particularly in identifying and mitigating cyber vulnerabilities for embedded systems within aircraft and weapon systems that operate in a system of systems warfare environment.

Among other things, CWD is in need of cyber support for intelligence operations, workforce development support, program support, administrative support, facilities support and business and management operational support.

NAWCAD will issue a five-year, single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to fulfill the requirements, with work slated to begin in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2022. The Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland will serve as the principal work location.

All contractor personnel employed under the contract must be able to obtain secret or top secret security clearance.
