Nerdio, Carahsoft Partner to Deliver IT Management Solutions to Public Sector

Carahsoft has partnered with Nerdio, a provider of software solutions for managing Microsoft cloud technologies, to deliver the latter’s Manager for Enterprise product to public sector agencies.

Through the partnership, Carahsoft will serve as Nerdio’s master government aggregator, making NME accessible to government clients through its reseller networks and several procurement contracts, Carahsoft said.

According to Carahsoft, NME is a comprehensive IT management solution designed specifically for government agencies’ needs. It offers a centralized control panel and facilitates regulatory compliance through features such as automated audits and policy enforcement tools.

The NME platform also enhances security with encryption protocols and advanced threat detection, optimizes resource allocation and fosters collaboration among government personnel through integrated productivity tools.

Joseph Landes, Nerdio’s chief revenue officer, said the partnership aims to help organizations transition to the cloud, enhancing service delivery and meeting dynamic public sector requirements.

Meanwhile, Jenna Hafey, Carahsoft’s director of Microsoft sales, said Nerdio’s integration will help government entities deploy and manage virtual desktop infrastructure in Microsoft Azure efficiently.

Nerdio’s offerings will be accessible through Carahsoft’s NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-Software 2 and National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint contracts.
