NetImpact Lands Contract to Support NCI CBIIT’s Digital Transformation

NetImpact Strategies, a woman-owned small business, has been awarded a contract to support the digital transformation efforts of the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology.

CBIIT is tasked with supporting cancer scientists and clinicians by providing them the tools they need to conduct research. The organization also supports the informatics, data and IT needs of research communities.

The Portfolio Management Systems Support Services recompete contract encompasses enterprise-wide portfolio management and strategic consulting, among other digital transformation services, NetImpact said Tuesday.

“Winning this recompete is a testament to the impact our team has delivered to CBIIT for over a decade in meeting those admirable mission goals and we are elated to continue automating and driving a metrics and data-driven culture of transparency,” said Nihar Shah, NetImpact’s program manager for the PMS3 contract.

Under the terms of the deal, NetImpact will help CBIIT design and support NCI’s IT and scientific portfolio management support systems.

The effort is expected to help drive data-driven decision-making and deliver better insights for better management, the company said.

NetImpact added that it will take advantage of its new DX360 capabilities to support CBIIT’s digital transformation.

DX360 is a set of solutions designed to address strategy, tools and data requirements in digital transformation efforts. NetImpact launched the solution suite on July 22.

NetImpact said it has a deep understanding of CBIIT’s mission requirements, noting that it previously helped mature the organization’s governance agility and program management processes and toolsets.
