Nisha Morris Named Strategic Communications Chief at National Security Agency

Nisha Morris has joined the National Security Agency as chief of strategic communications and senior executive adviser to the board of directors. She is expected to form a communications strategy and lead a global team to build public trust in the agency.

NSA Director Gen. Paul Nakasone, a 2023 Wash100 awardee, explained that Morris’ leadership acumen and experience will aid in promoting the organization’s mission and values across other sectors.

In 2022, PRNEWS named Morris to a list of leading women in public relations. She is a public speaker and author of articles covering digital marketing, leadership and other areas.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Morris was formerly part of the cancer research organization City of Hope as vice president of marketing and communications. She has also held communications and PR leadership positions in Providence St. Joseph Health, Dell and Smith Micro Software.

Morris holds a master’s degree in business administration from Keller Graduate University and a bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of La Verne, NSA said.
