Noblis Wins Prime Spot on $200M Transport Department Contract for Technical Services
Noblis, a provider of science services to the government, has won a prime spot on the potential $200 million U.S. Department of Transportation contract vehicle for technical services.
The five-year Technical Support Services Contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity deal managed by DOT’s Federal Highway Administration, Noblis said Wednesday.
The company said it will provide technical services to the Transport Department’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office.
ITS JPO is tasked with accelerating the development and use of intelligent transportation systems to efficiently move people and goods.
Noblis said that its services will help ITS JPO advance federal initiatives related to automated vehicles, advanced roadway sensor and control systems, smart cities and communities, cybersecurity and vehicle electrification.
Mile Corrigan, senior vice president of civilian solutions at Noblis Federal, said that the company will continue building new capabilities through its own research in self-organizing autonomous systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Corrigan added that the company’s work will make the U.S. “surface transportation system safer, greener—and more productive, accessible and equitable for all Americans.”
Noblis is a science and technology organization headquartered in Reston, Virginia. The company said that it works with government and industry clients in the areas of national security, intelligence, transportation, health care, environmental sustainability and citizen services.
Noblis recently launched a data gathering automation platform as part of its Run suite of products for federal agencies.
