Onspring Secures FedRAMP Authorization for GovCloud Platform

Onspring has received moderate-level FedRAMP authorization for its GovCloud platform, enabling U.S. federal agencies to automate governance, risk and compliance processes and reporting, including Office of Management and Budget Circular A-123, Plan of Action and Milestones and North American Electric Reliability Corporation compliance, Onspring said.

Onspring GovCloud is designed to simplify risk and compliance management by connecting workflows, information, technology and personnel. Onspring said the platform fills a critical gap for federal agencies transitioning to cloud operations, offering a fast, reliable, flexible and easy-to-use solution.

GovCloud’s suite of GRC products automates critical risk management tasks, facilitating real-time data aggregation for insightful reporting and informed decision-making.

Nichole Windholz, Onspring’s director of cybersecurity, underscored GovCloud’s role in helping federal agencies proactively address cybersecurity risks.

David Abdalla, senior program manager at Tennessee Valley Authority and a GovCloud client, said Onspring has significantly improved its NERC compliance program’s efficiency and accuracy, highlighting reduced human error and significant time savings.

To expand its market reach, Onspring has also partnered with resellers Four Points Technology, Integration Technologies Group, iLAB and Carahsoft, making it easier for government customers to acquire Onspring GovCloud.
