OpenText Expands FedRAMP Marketplace Offerings With New Platform Certification
Ontario-based threat intelligence company OpenText has added another cloud-based solution to the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Marketplace, with its Cloud for Government platform achieving “fully authorized” FedRAMP status.
Two company core products—OpenText Extended Enterprise Content Management and AppWorks—drive the newly authorized platform designed to deliver secure cloud services through a standardized security authorization. FedRAMP certifications were previously granted to the company’s Fortify on Demand and IT Management Platform, OpenText said.
In addition to its security control features, Cloud for Government is designed to empower federal agencies’ delivery of faster and more transparent services. The solution’s content storage and document organization combine with archiving and imaging for efficiency. It also enables streamlined agencies’ collaboration through its automated low-code process.
Muhi Majzoub, OpenText executive vice president and chief product officer, said OpenText’s FedRAMP-certified solutions support U.S. government agencies’ mission “to deliver an intelligent total citizen experience.”
Fortify on Demand, another FedRAMP-approved platform, is designed for application code and website security assessments without software. Users of the OpenText IT Management platform, also FedRAMP certified, have access to various functions, such as information technology service and asset management, to enable federal customers to readily pinpoint IT service problems.
