FedRAMP Grants High Authorization to Multiple Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Products

Oracle has announced that the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program approved over a dozen Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and features.

According to Oracle, the OCI offerings deliver enhanced artificial intelligence, DevOps and security capabilities to federal agencies and users. Some features of the OCI offering are a network firewall built using Palo Alto Networks’ next-generation technology, AI forecasting, AI-enabled image analysis, data security and evaluation, automated and cloud-based data management, cloud security and identity and access management.

The OCI products were granted FedRAMP High authorization, Oracle said.

Apart from Oracle, other cloud service providers received FedRAMP authorization for their products.

Recently, Axonius’ government-facing subsidiary announced that it received a FedRAMP “In Process” designation for its cloud-based software-as-a-service offering for asset management. According to Axonius, the offering is designed to optimize IT operations and set the basis for zero trust security.

In January, California-based cybersecurity company Netskope secured a FedRAMP High authorization for the Netskope GovCloud. The products allow federal agencies to protect their systems from various data risks and threats using zero trust-based protocols.
