Oteemo Wins 33-Month US Air Force LevelUP DevSecOps Services Deal

Virginia-based Oteemo, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a 33-month DevSecOps services contract and task order. The deal supports the LevelUP Program of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Cryptologic and Cyber System Division Unified Platform Branch, Oteemo said Wednesday.

LevelUP was defined as the people, organization, culture, facilities and technology that develop and sustain the Unified Platform system, which supports cyberspace operations for the United States’ Cyber Mission Force. Oteemo said its team will apply design thinking, lean, agile and DevSecOps principles to “bring velocity and acceleration into the software supply chains and deliver digital products that are scalable and portable.”

In a statement, Raja Gudepu, founder and chief operating officer of Oteemo, said the award allows his company and its LevelUP partners to continue their software factory work with the U.S. Air Force, supporting the service’s mission to modernize and deploy secure, reliable software efficiently and effectively throughout U.S. cyberspace operations.

Chris Scheich, executive vice president and co-founder of Oteemo, said that the company’s extensive experience and past performance will help LevelUP Code Works accelerate its journey to owning and operating a DevSecOps Platform that prototypes, develops, integrates, and delivers cyber capabilities for the American warfighter.

The information technology consulting firm originally received a potential five-year, $95 million basic ordering agreement to provide DevSecOps pipeline and platform integration support services for the LevelUP program in Feb. 2019. Oteemo is touted as a pioneer in DevSecOps and cloud-native transformation, containerization and MLOps. Founded in 2014, it is one of the first American technology companies to become both a Cloud Native Computing Foundation Kubernetes Certified Services Provider and a certified Kubernetes Training Partner
