Palantir Secures DISA Contract for Joint Electromagnetic Battle Management Tool

Palantir USG has received a $9.8 million other transaction agreement/authority contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to work on an Electromagnetic Battle Management – Joint Decision Support prototype.

Donny Williams, chief of spectrum information systems at the Program Executive Office for Spectrum, said the program provides joint force commanders with a planning tool capable of automating key operational electromagnetic spectrum planning processes.

DISA and Palantir are developing EMBM-J DS to ensure integration with service-provided electromagnetic battle management tools and processes, enabling interoperability between combatant command and Joint Task Force JEMSOCs and their counterparts, DISA .mil reported.

EMBM-J Program Manager Betsy Park said the technology will ensure U.S. forces have electromagnetic spectrum superiority across every domain.

DISA introduced the EMBM-J program in February 2023, releasing a request for an initial presentation to interested contractors capable of developing a decision support tool for the Joint Electromagnetic Battle Management system. In December 2023, the agency announced the availability of its initial capability toolkit, a cloud-based platform that integrates EMS capabilities into a single platform.
