Palantir Secures Potential $115M Contract Extension to Continue Operating Army Vantage Platform

The U.S. Army has awarded Palantir Technologies a potential $115.04 million contract extension to continue operating the Army Vantage platform.

Palantir will continue providing its open data and analytics platform, delivering artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities and infrastructure to the Army’s product. Army Vantage integrates data sources from the Army and the Department of Defense, providing a holistic and real-time operational enterprise data ecosystem to warfighters and optimizing the service’s training, logistics, talent management and contracting efficiency.

Palantir will continue working with the Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information System in operating the platform. The Army awarded $97.35 million under the contract and released $35.6 million in initial funding, Palantir said.

The Army award adds to other tasks the company received in 2023 that support the U.S. defense sector.

In late July, the Defense Information Systems Agency awarded Palantir a contract to deliver a software platform automating radio frequency coordination processes between the Department of Defense and its private sector partners. The software is expected to integrate various communications functions into a single offering, effectively streamlining workflows, spectrum-sharing arrangements and 5G deployment.

In June, the U.S. Space Force awarded Palantir three contract extensions worth $110.3 million for continued data-as-a-service capabilities delivery.
