Pegasystems Government Cloud Solution Secures DISA IL4 Provisional Authorization
The Defense Information Systems Agency has granted software company Pegasystems‘ Pega Cloud for Government a provisional authorization for the Department of Defense at impact level 4.
Pega Cloud for Government is a managed system that provides the tools, environments and operational support that allow government agencies to develop applications, move software offerings to the cloud and meet modernization requirements. The offering also meets Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program standards.
The DISA IL4 authorization means that the solution meets the Department of Defense’s Security Requirements Guide for cloud computing platforms. With the PA, Pentagon officials will be able to accelerate their adoption of cloud-based solutions, Pegasystems said Tuesday.
The designation also allows users to modernize citizen services and ensure that other offerings meet security and compliance requirements.
DISA issues IL4 PAs to a cloud service provider based on FedRAMP and other Pentagon security requirements. The authorization is designed to focus on cloud service offering risks.
Pegasystems offers solutions that connect data and systems across siloed environments to help improve organizational efficiency and streamline processes. The company works with other government agencies to achieve modernization goals and meet digital transformation milestones.
Pegasystems is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has offices across the U.S., Canada and Brazil.
