Peraton to Support Defense Manpower Data Center Modernization Under $1.4B BPA

Peraton has secured a position on the $1.4 billion Defense Enterprise HR Applications and Data Services blanket purchase agreement, allowing it to compete with nine other awardees for task orders focused on modernizing the Defense Manpower Data Center.

Services required under the BPA include software development and sustainment, data management and security, application rationalization and cloud migration, and new technology adoption.

The work under the contract will simplify DMDC processes, improve operational efficiencies, modernize current IT systems and increase the DMDC’s overall security posture using the Amazon Web Services cloud, Peraton said.

The DMDC serves as the source of information and support for human resources issues within the Department of Defense. Through the data center, uniformed service members, veterans and their families can access, provide and authenticate information about their entitlements, benefits and medical resources.

“Peraton takes great pride in being the trusted partner to improve the lives of active and retired service members and their families,” said Tarik Reyes, president of Peraton’s defense mission and health solutions sector and a 4×24 member.

Other companies selected to deliver DMDC support under the DEHRADS BPA are Aderas, Booz Allen Hamilton, clearAvenue, General Dynamics Information Technology, ICF, Credence Management, iWorks, Deloitte and Dignari.
