Peraton to Deliver Cyberspace Operation Support to US Army Under $89M Contract
Peraton has secured a contract for cyberspace operations support for the U.S. Army Cyber, the U.S. Cyber Command and mission partners.
The contractor will provide program management, intelligence support, cyber operations support, security operations and training, among other tasks. Work under the contract would give ARCYBER an information advantage by enabling decision-making dominance in the cyberspace domain and operationalizing information advantage capabilities for the Army and the Department of Defense, Peraton said Tuesday.
The company also has other cybersecurity-related contracts with other entities, including those operating in the defense sector.
In June, Peraton Labs won a $9.2 million contract to install its 1553 Bus Defender cybersecurity intrusion detection and prevention devices in the MQ-8C Fire Scout unmanned aerial system. The 1553 Bus Defender is designed to combat run-time attacks, zero-day attacks and other threats on various platforms.
Earlier in the month, Peraton received a $284 million task order to provide foreign threat analysis and assessment capabilities to the Defense Intelligence Agency.
