FedRAMP designation
Quzara Cybertorch for Government Receives FedRAMP Ready Designation
Cloud security and cybersecurity compliance company Quzara has received a Ready designation at the High Impact Level from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for its Cybertorch for Government offering. The solution is available on the FedRAMP marketplace.
Quzara Cybertorch for Government is a managed detection and response and security operations center-as-a-service platform that provides security monitoring and vulnerability management services. It uses the company’s cloud-native security architecture to separate customer log collection and threat event remediation.
The platform is supported by a cloud computing architecture from Microsoft Azure Government, which is authorized for FedRAMP High and Department of Defense Impact Level 5, Quzara said.
Saif Rahman, managing director at Quzara, said the FedRAMP designation allows the company to accelerate compliance with the government’s cybersecurity and threat information sharing executive order and allows it to support cyber threat defense measures for the government, critical infrastructure and the defense industrial base.
The company will continue working to achieve a FedRAMP High Authority to Operate designation and hopes to achieve the milestone in 2023.
FedRAMP is a government initiative that ensures that commercial cloud offerings can be used safely by government agencies. It provides a standard approach for assessing risk and security measures for cloud technologies and federal agencies.
Quzara is an 8(a) certified, woman-owned cybersecurity company that offers compliance advisory, security engineering and managed security services. It is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
