REI Systems to Modernize DITMAC’s Insider Threat Monitoring System

galaxy ngThe Department of Defense’s Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center has awarded REI Systems a contract to build a Salesforce-based threat detection case management solution.

REI will replace DITMAC’s manual insider threat reporting process with an artificial intelligence-enabled and automated offering that can improve predictive warnings and enable a more effective threat and incident analysis. The new product is expected to include a web-based, centralized repository that would allow DOD personnel and the general public to report incidents anonymously.

The new platform is expected to help personnel identify threats such as espionage, workplace violence and cyberattacks, REI Systems said Tuesday.

The DOD contract builds on other digital modernization awards REI has received since the start of 2023.

Earlier in November, the company secured a potential five-and-a-half-year, $85 million blanket purchase agreement from the Health Resources and Services Administration for data-related IT support. REI was tasked with providing data collection, data analytics and visualization and other services for the HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care Office.

In January, the Department of the Treasury Inter-American Foundation selected REI Systems’ GovGrants software-as-a-service offering for its grants management modernization effort.
