Royce Geo to Provide Automated Analytics Services Under NGA Program
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has awarded Royce Geo a fifth delivery order to provide artificial intelligence-powered electro-optical commercial analytic services under the Economic Indicator Monitoring program.
NGA seeks to understand global trends influencing military and economic capabilities.
Royce Geo, a provider of intelligence lifecycle modernization services, is tasked with continuing global monitoring activities and applying AI and machine learning to analyze objects of interest in satellite imagery.
According to Royce Geo CEO Dave Sterling, his company provides data acquisition and analytical support, enabling clients to utilize commercial data. He noted that the use AI/ML allows the EIM program to process complex problem sets and create efficiencies, Royce Geo said Wednesday.
The company is expected to utilize its Coordinate, Understand, Resource, Visualize, Enhance operational environment, which automatically pulls and enhances satellite imagery from multiple vendors, analyzes the material and delivers findings while providing a common dashboard for clients to monitor project status.
NGA and Royce Geo agreed to continue EIM work in March, increasing the value of the program’s indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from $29 million to $60 million.
