RSA Conference to Tackle National Cybersecurity Strategy

The 2023 iteration of the RSA Conference will cover the recently released national cyber strategy, collaborative efforts, artificial intelligence and other topics. Officials from the intelligence community and private sector are expected to participate in various discussions throughout the San Francisco-based event, which will run from April 24 to 27.

Bryan Vorndran, assistant director of the FBI’s cyber division, is scheduled to moderate a panel discussion about strengthening the security of AI and machine learning. Meanwhile, Eric Goldstein, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s executive assistant director for cybersecurity, will join U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William Hartman, the commander of the Cyber National Mission Force, to talk about CISA’s relationship with the U.S. Cyber Command.

A session on the national cyber strategy will feature Goldstein and Vorndran. They will speak alongside Rob Knake, acting principal deputy national cyber director, and Liesyl Franz, the Department of State’s acting deputy assistant secretary for international cyberspace security, Inside Defense reported Friday.
