SciTec to Deliver Cloud-Based Solution for Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System

SciTec announced that it has secured a task order for Cloud-Based Command and Control Tracker Fusion from the Department of the Air Force Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management.

Awarded under the Advanced Battle Management System indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract, the contractor will initially integrate a minimum viable product capability into the CBC2 ecosystem in six months and work to expand the solution to onboard additional data feeds and tune performance.

The CBC2 Tracker Fusion uses sensor-agnostic and open systems design to support maturation, demonstration and proliferation of data fusion capabilities, enabling the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control, SciTec said.

Stephanie Higgins, portfolio lead for all domain solutions at SciTec, said that the contract provides the government with an opportunity to rapidly integrate, test and extend SciTec fusion applications within an established cloud network and deliver them to warfighters.

The service introduced the cloud-based solution in November as a solution to improve officials’ decision-making skills by providing them with relevant data feeds.

The tracker fusion will be integrated into the ABMS, the service branch’s contribution to CJADC2. The ABMS will provide commanders and warfighters with a secure communications network to share data from the field faster compared to traditional methods.
