ShardSecure Strengthens Public Sector Reach Through Carahsoft Partnership
ShardSecure a sata security and privacy solutions provider, has joined forces with Carahsoft Technology to deliver the former’s data control solution to public sector organizations.
Carahsoft will distribute the platform through its reseller networks and procurement contracts, allowing agencies to easily access the cybersecurity platform, ShardSecure said.
ShardSecure’s data control platform offers advanced, agentless file-level encryption, safeguarding unstructured government data from unauthorized access and tampering without the cost and complexity of traditional encryption solutions.
For added protection and resilience against ransomware, outages and other forms of cyberattacks, the platform also uses a novel file-level encryption strategy that breaks files into micro units and disperses them across multiple storage locations.
Bob Lam, CEO and co-founder of ShardSecure, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the importance of Carahsoft’s expertise and reach in expanding ShardSecure’s footprint within the public sector.
Brian O’Donnell, Carahsoft’s vice president of cybersecurity solutions, echoed the sentiment, saying the company is dedicated to streamlining access to innovative solutions that empower government agencies to effectively manage and protect their critical data.
ShardSecure’s platform will be available through Carahsoft’s SEWP V, NASPO ValuePoint, OMNIA Partners and The Quilt contracts.
