SilverEdge Secures $164M SaaS Classified Contract Modification From Federal Government

The U.S. federal government has awarded SilverEdge Government Solutions a $164 million technology solutions and software delivery contract modification to exercise the second option period of a classified task order.

Under the contract, SilverEdge will continue providing intelligence solutions through the Soar software-as-a-service platform, which offers customized business automation and intelligence, artificial intelligence and machine learning, content management, cross-domain solutions and integrated data management.

The award provides the opportunity to support government customers in meeting their transformation requirements and maintaining a competitive edge to achieve mission success, SilverEdge said.

According to Robert Miller, SilverEdge CEO, the Soar SaaS model “serves as a disruptive force that significantly benefits the U.S Government.”

The company’s website showed that the platform supports solution acceptance testing, assembly and configuration, and updates and enhancements, among other solution development efforts.

Miller said the value of the option period increased by 100 percent compared to the base year because the latest contract requires additional services, “reflecting SilverEdge’s exceptional performance and customer delivery.”
