Snowflake Products Now Part of Carahsoft’s Public Sector Offerings

Snowflake for Public Sector will now be included in Carahsoft Technology’s General Services Administration Schedule, expanding federal, state and local access to cloud data capabilities intended to improve citizen services, mission effectiveness and decision-making. Through Carahsoft, Snowflake’s Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program-authorized offerings will also be available for purchase on Amazon Web Services Marketplace. Carahsoft is an aggregator of various information technology solutions intended for government use, Snowflake said.

According to Jeff Frazier, head of the global public sector at Snowflake, federal agencies are prioritizing the modernization of information technology systems, adding that his company’s product supports that drive by providing seamless, secure and collaborative data management capabilities.

Carahsoft has entered into multiple agreements to distribute similar platforms in 2022 alone. In July, the Reston, Virginia-based software vendor announced it would begin offering Hewlett-Packard Enterprise’s GreenLake edge-to-cloud service that promises to simplify cloud operations, improve IT resource efficiency and consolidate data center insights.

Twilio, a customer engagement platform, joined Carahsoft’s GSA IT Schedule 70 in May in a bid to reach more public sector organizations. A sales director with Twilio explained that the company offers tools for improving control communication workflows and improving user experience.

April saw Carahsoft and Palantir Technologies enter a channel partnership to improve government access to the latter’s data operations software.
