SOSi to Provide Communications Support to Washington State Labor Department

SOS International announced that it has secured a three-year contract from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries for communications support services.

SOSi will provide a mobile-friendly and secure web-based scheduling platform that allows users to request, cancel, edit and verify schedules for various appointments, including health care and worker support. The platform will also capture the execution and completion of services and allow interpreters to submit invoices to insurers through SOSi.

The company will also manage exchanges between Washington State L&I, its clients and service providers, ensuring that essential services will be provided in person and remotely in numerous languages.

L&I manages around 22,000 appointments per month, SOSi said.

The deal follows other contracts SOSi was awarded for defense-related support services.

In January, SOSi received a contract to provide ISR and cyber support services to the U.S. Army Europe and Africa‘s intelligence directorate. Work on the contract gives USAEUR-AF personnel access to intelligence and technical support areas where major conflicts persist.

In November, the Defense Intelligence Agency awarded SOSi a $63 million task order to use artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to modernize decision-making capabilities at the Missile and Space Intelligence Center.
