Space Force Adds Skylark Labs to Monkton’s $500M MATTER Program

Skylark Labs is the latest vendor to collaborate with the U.S. Space Force in developing innovative solutions for warfighters under Monkton’s Mobile Applications At The Technical Edge Small Business Innovation Research Phase III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The deal allows the contractor to accelerate the deployment of solutions, helping a long list of federal agencies solve the unique challenges they are facing.

Valued at $500 million, the MATTER contract empowers selected vendors to design, build and deploy mission-enabling platforms that provide the government with advanced capabilities, Skylark Labs said.

Amarjot Singh, founder and CEO of Skylark Labs AI, said the company is proud to support the MATTER program to provide the government with innovative solutions that give it a competitive advantage in warfighting.

The contractor also worked with the Department of Defense to develop the Aerial Reconnaissance and Elimination System, an artificial intelligence-enabled solution capable of detecting and tracking rogue drones during surveillance operations in areas beyond the visual line of sight.
